With each of us getting closer to the dreaded mid-life crisis, we decided to collectively challenge ourselves, gain a sense of achievement in completing a difficult and arduous task, whilst raising funds for a few worthwhile causes.

With this in mind, on August 31st 2008 for two weeks, the three of us will be cycling the length of the UK; starting at John O’Groats and hopefully, if the legs hold out, ending at Land’s End.

This trip is ultimately about raising money for charity and we have chosen three that we would like to represent, mainly due to personal experiences of the various issues that each charity supports.

For those of you that know us, we're sure you're having a good laugh at the fact that we're even attempting something like this, especially as you'll know doubt know that all the B&B’s along the way are actually pubs.
